I found the video very enlightening and very educational. Thanks to its detailed chapter by chapter discussion, I was able to understand not only on the interface level but also on the database level. I'm using the module but I was not even aware of its components: storage, format, widget. Many topics have been touch that I was not even aware of: theming of node types with CCK and the likes.

This is really essential for drupal users.
